Most of the systems below were built for large organizations that could afford a dedicated engineering team. The work now is bringing that same standard to businesses that can't — without the enterprise price tag or timeline.
The short version
I'm a software engineer with 7+ years of experience spanning backend engineering, distributed systems, and data engineering — from designing CQRS-based enterprise backends to building real-time ERP platforms and multi-tenant SaaS products from scratch.
Along the way, that's meant optimizing database queries from minutes down to seconds, migrating a monolith toward microservices, automating financial data pipelines that used to need manual review, and architecting a SaaS platform that keeps working even when the internet doesn't.
I now split that experience between building for founders and small businesses directly, and continuing to work on large-scale systems — which keeps the standard high on both sides.
Why this work
Most tools built for "small business" are stripped-down versions of enterprise software — or templates that don't actually fit how the business runs. The systems here are built the other way: real architecture, sized honestly to the problem, without the overhead a five-person shop doesn't need.
